OUR HORSES

Whether tall, small, brown, black, white or gray, our horses all have something in common – they have been selected for their ability to gently teach and challenge riders of all abilities. Whether you want to learn or improve your skills in the dressage or hunter/jumper disciplines or just want to learn how to ride with confidence on the vast trail system surrounding the farm, you’ll find the perfect equine partner waiting for you here at Walnut Hollow Farm.

Beau-Geste "Bo-Bo" - is the most senior horse at the barn and currently has the run of the place. Wherever the greenest grass is growing is where you can usually find him. Many an amateur rider has learned the basics with Bo's patient guidance. He is most definitely a barn favorite!

Shiloh - considers himself Bo's best friend and second in command. Not sure if Bo agrees with that but in any case, he also has taught many a young rider. His shenanigans k eep everyone entertained and he is loved by everyone.

Panzer - is owned by Carol Hjelm of Merrimack, NH. Panzer is a gentle but mischievous guy. Aptly named, Panzer is like a tank and generally gets to where he wants to go when he makes up his mind. He is also gentle with his rider and is quite the "love bug" - especially if you happen to have a treat in your pocket.

                 

Sydney - is owned by Carole Boutin of Bedford, NH. Also known as Boo-Boo Boutin, Sydney is a great looking Thoroughbred who has taken his rider into the "blues" consistently. He can count, has taken a bow at a dressage show, and is learning new tricks daily. His "in-your-pocket" personality is acute and he also can smell a treat a mile away!

Bailey - "Air" Bailey is probably the busiest guy at the barn. He is a fine teacher for new students and more experienced riders as well. He's very sweet, loves to jump and his canter is the best around. He loves to play with his buddies in the field and is always looking for a way out of the pasture. Always places in the ribbons and is just about the cutest pony around.
