Ashley Brown

Ashley has had a love of horses her entire life. In the summer of 2009, she was selected as the first student exchange equestrian from New Hampshire to study riding and horsemanship with the internationally acclaimed Pollmann-Schweckhorst family in Gut Bärbroich, Germany. During her stay, Ashley was under the tutelage of Elmar Pollmann-Schweckhorst, world-class hunter jumper and author of The Modern Jumper in addition to other best-sellers. Additionally, Ms. Brown has attended numerous clinics on horsemanship here in the U.S. most recently a 3-day eventing clinic with Alwynne Hellfach of Stratford, NH. She continues her training onsite with Rowena McMahon at Walnut Hollow Farm.

Ashley has shown extensively in New Hampshire including the University of New Hampshire, Hollis Area Equestrians, Oakrise and Hilltop where she recently won first place in dressage on Harvard's Princess, Walnut Hollow Farm's most recent acquisition from the Pollmann-Schweckhorst farm in Germany. She currently instructs beginner to advanced students interested in learning or perfecting their skills in the hunter/jumper discipline. Her goal is to make the rider more confident and knowledgeable about the sport - but most of all to form a strong bond with their horses so they can attain excellence as a team.
