Horse boarding in Amherst, New Hampshire as well as training and leasing is all available at Walnut Hollow Farm, a 62 acre horse riding facility. Our professional and knowledgeable staff will provide professional care for your horse year round.
The horse stables and pastures are set on a beautiful quiet country road abutting a vast conservation trail system. We are conveniently located in Southern New Hampshire, about 5 minutes from Bedford, less than 15 minutes from Nashua and Manchester, and within 30 minutes from the Massachusetts border. The farm is on the Amherst school bus route.
Our riders are primarily youth and adult jumper/hunter and dressage. While most are recreational riders we also participate in several horse shows around Southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Experience Walnut Hollow Farm NOW.

Ashley Brown heads to Germany to train with Pollmann-Schweckhorst equestrian team Ashley Brown of Londonderry, New Hampshire has been selected as the first student exchange equestrian from New Hampshire to study riding and horsemanship with the internationally acclaimed Pollmann-Schweckhorst family in Gut Bärbroich, Germany. During her visit, Ashley will learn about horsemanship, barn management, and international showing. She leaves July 19th! Keep us posted on your adventure Ashley and congratulations on being selected for this great honor! |

American Defenders Pitcher Juan Padilla and his family pay a visit to WHF Juan Padilla, his wife Ericka and their daughter Nikol came to Walnut Hollow Farm on June 8th. Nikol, who loves horses as many young girls do, had a riding lesson on Misty with Rowena McMahon - instructor and owner of Walnut Hollow Farm. Nikol thoroughly enjoyed her lesson and plans to ride again later in the week. Padilla pitches for the American Defenders of New Hampshire - affiliated with the independent Can-Am baseball league. He hails from Puerto Rico and was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 24th round of the 1998 amateur entry draft. Padilla has major league experience as a relieving pitcher with the New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, and New York Mets. More photos here. |

WHF Welcomes Shauna Moore's New Horse - TRIVOLLIN! After a great deal of searching, Shauna Moore has found her equine partner - Trivollin - an exceptionally handsome and athletic 7-year-old thoroughbred.Triv is now happy in his new home at Walnut Hollow Farm and making many new friends - both human and equine! Registrations now being accepted for WHF Riding Camp! Sign up today! Four sessions are planned for this summer. July 6 -10; July 13 - 17; July 20 - 24 and July 27 - 31. Each day is jam-packed with classes in horsemanship & barn management, 2 riding lessons, a gourmet lunch, afternoon swimming at the lake and other fun activities. Camp starts at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Cost: $500 for the week. Pick up time can be extended for additional minimal cost. |
